Tomato and Basil One Pot

8oz Traditional Spaghetti alla Chitara
6oz Cherry Tomatoes, Halved
2 Garlic Cloves, sliced
1/2 Onion, Thinly Sliced
4 Tbl. Olive Oil
4 Sprigs Fresh Basil, Torn or sliced
1 Tbl. Salt
Fresh Ground Black Pepper
Put all ingredients into a large saucepan in the order listed above.
Cook for approximately 15 minutes over a medium heat stirring regularly.
About 3/4in of cooking liquid should remain at the end.
Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and serve.
Add some chicken or some ground Italian sausage for some extra protein!
